Our view on a sustainable architecture

La Pichi is made under sustainable principles and built by hand, from its foundations to its last details.

The main material is wood from the area and the vast majority of all the elements inside were obtained in the closest cities of Calbuco and Puerto Montt.

The windows have a wood-colored PVC frame and double glazing to conserve as much of the heat that we get from its strategic orientation to the north.

“The farm has three habitable modules. A main house, where the host Juan lives, and two tiny houses -identical- in one of them the host Pame lives and the other corresponds to the co-living space that we offer here.”
